I'm doing 100 Skips a Day in Memory of Everleigh June 💛
It’s that time of year again! Time to pull the skipping ropes out 🏃🏻♀️
As many of you will be aware, our beautiful daughter Everleigh lost her battle with WOREE Syndrome in November last year, just before her 3rd birthday.
Children affected by WOREE Syndrome display the following, but not limited to, symptoms in varying severity: refractory epilepsy, profound global developmental delays and severe cognitive impairment. Impacting every aspect of their lives and requiring 24:7 care.
Most children with WOREE Syndrome will not live through to adulthood with an average life expectancy of just 4 years old.
At present THERE IS NO CURE!
This year we are skipping in honour of her. To help raise much needed funds for research into childhood genetic diseases. With the hope that one day, no child will have their childhood cut short and no family will have to endure the pain of losing a child.
Every dollar raised from my challenge goes to Children’s Medical Research Institute and helps find treatments and cures that will save children’s lives. Your support will change the future for children living with genetic diseases!
Will you support my challenge? Please donate to my fundraiser now!
