I’m fundraising in honour of my daughter, Kaylee.
Why I’m skipping
I’ve signed up to do 100 skips a day throughout August to raise much needed funds for genetic research.When my daughter Kaylee was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis at 4 months old, my whole world was turned upside down. Watching her suffer and worse, living with anticipatory grief, as the life expectancy then was 30 years.
Today, Kaylee is a thriving at 34 years old, thanks to genetic research which uncovered incredible medication to remove the muscous blocking her airways.
Please help us continue this much needed genetic research so that Kayley's life expectancy, which is now 60, can be increased to 100!
There’s lots of work to do, but there is also lots of hope.
