As some members of our school community may remember, Amelia, daughter of one of our families, was honoured to be one of the faces of the 2025 Jeans for Genes campaign. While Amelia is no longer a campaign ambassador, this year's Jeans for Genes Day on Thursday 6 August is no less important, and we are proud to continue supporting this worthy cause.

Amelia lives with Kabuki Syndrome, a rare genetic condition for which there is currently no cure. Ongoing research funded through initiatives like Jeans for Genes is vital in improving understanding, diagnosis and treatment of genetic conditions, and brings hope to families affected by them.

We encourage our school community to get involved and support the important work being undertaken through the Children's Medical Research Institute. Every contribution helps make a difference for children like Amelia and many others living with genetic conditions.

Parents, carers, grandparents, students and staff are invited to wear denim on school's Open Day on Thursday 6 Aug, and bring a gold coin donation to support this special cause. Thank you!
