Our gorgeous boy has Global Developmental Delay. At four, he isn’t independently walking just yet, so for our family, every step carries a little extra meaning.
Every kilometre we walk is for Brody, for every step he’s working towards, every milestone he’s achieved and all the incredible kids doing things in their own way, in their own time.
Milestones that can come naturally to others have taken us a little more time, a lot of hard work and incredible determination. We’ve learnt to never take the little things for granted because the smallest steps can be the biggest achievements.
We’re taking on KM’s for Kids to support Jeans for Genes and help raise funds for research that can make a difference for so many children and families.
Until Brody can take those steps himself, we’ll proudly take them for him.Â
