Why We’re Doing Ks for Kids
Did you know that 1 in 20 Aussie kids are born with a genetic disease or birth defect? That's one in every classroom.
This August, Tim and I are taking on the Ks for Kids challenge and aiming to walk or run 100km together.
For us, this cause is personal. Our son Brooks was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis through newborn screening, and we've seen firsthand how life-changing medical research can be. The treatments available today exist because of the scientists, researchers and families who came before us and refused to give up.
We're fundraising for Children's Medical Research Institute to help support the next generation of breakthroughs for kids like Brooks and so many others.
Every kilometre we complete is for the children and families navigating challenges they never expected. If you'd like to support us, we'd be so grateful for any donation, big or small.
Thank you for helping us turn steps into hope. 💙
