I’ve signed up to do 100 skips a day throughout August to raise money for Children’s Medical Research Institute and help save more kids’ lives.

This fundraiser is especially close to my heart because I’m doing it for my beautiful daughter, Charlotte, who was diagnosed with Potocki-Lupski syndrome – a rare genetic condition that can affect development, learning, muscle tone and overall health.

Like many rare genetic conditions, there’s still so much that isn’t known. Medical research is essential to improve understanding, develop better treatments, and give children like Charlotte and their families hope for the future.

I care about the 1 in 20 Aussie kids who are born with a birth defect or genetic condition. Every breakthrough starts with research, and every donation helps researchers get one step closer to improving the lives of children and families facing these challenges.
