Why I’m Supporting Jeans for Genes
This year, Rolland and I are proud to be supporting Jeans for Genes Day in honour of my nephew and Rolland’s cousin, Dusty.
Our little firecracker was recently diagnosed with a rare genetic condition called RUNX1. While there are still many unknowns ahead, this diagnosis has finally given our family some answers after wondering since his birth why he had been so unwell.
Research funded through causes like Jeans for Genes gives families hope for better treatments, greater understanding, and one day, hopefully, a cure.
