Most of my adult life, I have donated to Jeans for Genes, each and every year. This will be my fourth year running a fundraiser to support the Children’s Medical Research Institute.
Many of you already know, that my sweet nephew Spencer was diagnosed with a genetic disease when he was 4 years old. Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD).
This year, after building a strong foundation, with some traction amongst my community, I am bursting with pride to say Spencer is now one of the 5 faces of Jeans for Genes 2026!

Spencer is an extraordinary kid and my son's best buddy. So this year I'm hoping to push hard again and see what can be done for this incredible charity - with of course my primary focus being Spencer, and my beautiful sister's family.
