Why I’m skipping
I’m doing this for my daughter, Maeve.
Maeve has a rare genetic condition that still hasn’t been identified. She’s had every genetic test currently available, but we still don’t have answers. That means science simply hasn’t caught up with her yet.
Without a diagnosis, it’s harder to understand what the future might look like, access targeted treatments, and connect with other families facing the same challenges.
That’s why I’m raising money for Jeans for Genes Day. Every donation helps fund the research that gives families like ours hope—hope that one day children like Maeve will finally have answers.
