Hi everyone! Did you know that 1 in 20 Aussie kids are born with a genetic disease or birth defect? That's one in every classroom.  This August, I'm taking on the K's for Kids challenge, walking and running to raise funds for Children's Medical Research Institute, supporting scientists who are working today to find cures for tomorrow.  This cause is extremely personal to me, unfortunately at 6 weeks old my son was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis. Cystic Fibrosis is a lifelong, genetic condition that primarily effects the lungs and digestive system.  Every single day comes with treatments, medications and challenges that most people never see. In Australia, around 1 in 2,500 babies are born with Cystic Fibrosis and more then 3,800 Australians are living with the condition. While treatments have improved, there is still no cure, but with your donations it will go to helping find it, God willing. Every donation, no matter the size makes a real difference.
