Why I’m skipping
I’ve signed up to do 100 skips a day throughout August to raise money for Children’s Medical Research Institute and help save more kids’ lives. Can you help by sharing this message with the people you know and asking them to donate too?
Here's just one story explaining why this cause is so important:
My dad was a hardworking, loving man who always put his family first. When he was diagnosed with cancer, our lives changed forever. Like many families, we never imagined cancer would become part of our story. We watched him face his illness with strength, courage and dignity, but despite his fight, we lost him to colon cancer.
Losing my dad showed me how devastating cancer can be, not only for the person diagnosed but for the entire family. It also made me realise how important medical research is. Every breakthrough in prevention, early detection and treatment gives hope to families who are facing the same journey we did.
Cancer affects millions of people around the world, and many of us will know someone we love who has been diagnosed. Continued research has the power to save lives, improve treatments and give families more precious time together.
I support cancer research because I don’t want other families to experience the pain of losing someone they love if it can be prevented. Every discovery brings us one step closer to better outcomes and, one day, a future where fewer families have to say goodbye too soon.
Please join me in supporting this important cause. Share this message, donate if you can, and help give hope to those still fighting.
Thank you.
