I’m fundraising in support of my friend, Piper.
This August, our Romie is taking on the challenge of completing 100 skips every day to raise awareness and funds for his friend, Piper, who lives with CTNNB1 syndrome, a rare genetic disorder.
Four years ago, Piper was diagnosed with CTNNB1 syndrome. Since then, she has shown incredible strength and resilience through more than 130 hours of therapy every year, countless hospital appointments, multiple surgeries under anaesthetic, specialist reviews, orthotics, mobility equipment, and ongoing medical care. Despite the many challenges she faces each day, Piper continues to inspire everyone around her with her determination and smile.
By supporting this challenge, you're helping raise awareness of CTNNB1 syndrome and the importance of continued research. Greater awareness leads to greater understanding, improved support for families, and increased opportunities for funding that could one day make life easier for children like Piper.
