This August, our family is taking part in Jeans for Genes, and we’ll be completing 100 skips every day to help raise money for the Children’s Medical Research Institute.

This cause is incredibly close to our hearts.

Our daughter was diagnosed with FSGS (Focal Segmental Glomerulosclerosis), a rare genetic kidney disease. Until she became unwell, we had no idea that both her father and I carried the gene that caused her condition. It was a complete shock and changed our lives forever.

Her diagnosis showed us just how important genetic research is. Without ongoing medical research, many families are left without answers, treatments, or hope. We know firsthand how quickly life can change and how vital it is to continue funding research that gives children the best possible chance at a healthy future.

That’s why we’re proud to support Jeans for Genes Day. Every donation helps fund life-changing research for children affected by genetic conditions and childhood diseases.
