Why I’m Doing Ks for Kids
Did you know that
1 in 20 Aussie kids are born with a genetic disease or birth defect? That’s one in every classroom!
💙 Our littlest love, Kobe lives everyday with the impacts of a genetic condition. Although our little man always finds a way to smile through everything, he lives with the daily struggles and impacts of this and while we try everyday to help manage this with him and his care teams, there is no cure for him. The condition that Kobe lives with is something that will become fatal for him. As parents, there isn't much more that we can do for our baby other than love him endlessly and give him every opportunity possible so for now, I'll be walking/running throughout August to help raise much needed funds for research to help find a cure for this.
Last year I chose to do 100 skips everyday in August and this August I'll be aiming to walk or run 60km's. I know and understand the cost of living right now is almost unbearable, but if you can find any amount to donate it would be appreciated more that you could know. It doesn't matter how big or small. We appreciate anything, if you can.💙
