Why I’m skipping
I’ve signed up to do 100 skips a day throughout August to raise money for the Children’s Medical Research Institute and help save more kids’ lives.
This cause is incredibly close to my heart because my beautiful nephew is currently fighting leukaemia. Watching someone you love go through cancer is something no family is ever prepared for. It has shown us just how vital medical research is, not only for improving treatments, but for giving children and their families hope for the future.
Every breakthrough in research means more children have the chance to survive, recover and live the healthy lives they deserve. That’s why I’m taking on this challenge and asking for your support.
I care about the 1 in 20 Australian kids who face a birth defect or genetic disease, including childhood cancer. The research we support today could change the future for a child tomorrow, perhaps even someone we know and love.
