Every KM has a purpose
This August, Joel and I are taking on 100km to support Jeans for Genes and help create a brighter future for children living with genetic conditions.
This is a cause that's incredibly close to our hearts. Having lived with Cystic Fibrosis my whole life, I've seen firsthand the impact a genetic condition has—not only on the person living with it, but on their family as well. The uncertainty, the hope, and the emotional journey are something many families face every day.
When I was born, my parents were told they may never see me reach my 25th birthday.
Thanks to incredible progress made through medical research, I’ve been fortunate enough to celebrate my 30th birthday and watch my son grow- moments I never take for granted.
That's why Joel and I are taking on this challenge together. Every kilometre we complete is our way of giving back and helping fund research that brings hope to children and their families-both now and for generations to come.
