In 2025, our son Reggie was born with Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA). A genetic condition that causes progressive muscle weakness. While it was a daunting diagnosis, we were incredibly fortunate that treatment was available. Thanks to advances in medical science, Reggie received gene therapy ā a life-changing treatment that has given him the chance to thrive.
Today, at 9 months old, he is the happiest little boy, cruising around and keeping up with his two older brothers. Watching him grow, play, and smile every day is something we will never take for granted.
Our family is so thankful for the support we received during the toughest time in our lives, which is why we are proud to support Jenes for Genes Day ā helping raise awareness and funds for families affected by genetic conditions, and supporting the research that gives children like Reggie hope for the future.
