A massive thank you to everyone who donated to Elliott’s Skipping Challenge.Thanks to your incredible generosity and encouragement, Elliott far surpassed his original fundraising goal of $500, raising an amazing $3,229, which will fund approximately 64 hours of vital medical research through the Children’s Medical Research Institute. Elliott has been blown away by the support he has received from family, friends, school and the wider community. Every donation, message of encouragement and cheer from the sidelines helped keep him keep motivated to reach this incredible milestone.
A message from Elliott:
“Thank you for donating to my skipping challenge - I did it and I passed my goal! Sometimes the challenge was tricky, but it was nothing compared to the challenges that some children with genetic conditions face every day. Along the way, I learned lots of new ways to skip and got better every day. I feel really happy that I participated in this challenge, and I hope the money raised helps researchers find new treatments and cures.
I can’t wait for the day when more children with genetic conditions have access to treatments and cures, and their families have the support they need through their toughest moments. Thank you for helping make a difference and giving hope to children and their families.”
