I’m fundraising in support of my son, Jaylen.
This August, I’ve signed up to take on 100 skips a day to raise funds for the Jeans for Genes Foundation, supporting the 1 in 20 Aussie kids who face a birth defect or genetic disease.
This cause hits especially close to home for our family. After our beautiful boy, Jaylen, was diagnosed with craniosynostosis, our world became filled with appointments, uncertainty, and preparing for the surgery and recovery that lies ahead.
Having a child diagnosed with a condition that requires medical intervention changes your perspective in ways you never expect. It has made me even more aware of just how many families are facing diagnoses, treatments, hospital stays, and uncertainty every single day.
So, for the month of August, I’ll be skipping 100 times a day for Jaylen, for the families walking similar paths, and for the incredible research that gives children hope for healthier futures. 💙
If you’re able to donate, share my fundraiser, or simply cheer me on along the way, I would be so incredibly grateful. Every little bit helps support research that could change the lives of Aussie kids and their families.
100 skips a day. 31 days. One cause that now means more to me than ever. 💙🧬
