Every day at my position at Townsville Paediatrics, I have the privilege of supporting children and their families through some of the most vulnerable and precious moments of their lives.Â
Genetic disorders affect 1 in 20 Aussie kids that’s one in every classroom. Behind each statistic is a child with a future worth fighting for.
I’m not a clinician, and I can’t offer medical care. But what I can do is raise awareness, advocate for these kids, and help fund the research that might one day change everything.
