I’ve signed up to do 100 skips a day throughout August to raise money for Children’s Medical Research Institute and help save more kids’ lives. Research needs to continue to help the next child diagnosed with a genetic disease, just like Eli.
I care about the 1 in 20 Aussie kids who face a birth defect or genetic disease, like muscular dystrophy. Most people don’t know that muscular dystrophy is caused by changes in genes — So, the research you and I support today may one day help someone we know, someone in our family.
There’s lots of work to do, but there is also lots of hope.
