It's for a really important reason: I want to help the 1 in 20 kids facing a birth defect or genetic disease, like cancer and cystic fibrosis. I'll be pushing myself this August because these kids need our help!

A great cause. Genetic testing shows Alice is a heterozygous carrier for a genetic condition that is associated with blood cancers. The current research shows no increased chance of developing cancer if you are only a gene carrier. But here we are, facing blood cancer. More research is needed.
