Why I’m skipping
I’ve signed up to do 100 skips a day throughout August to raise money for Children’s Medical Research Institute and help save more kids’ lives. Can you help by sharing this message with the people you know and asking them to donate too?Back in 2021, my family discovered that we have a genetic heart condition in our family. I had gone my whole life thinking that I had epilepsy but it was in fact Long QT Syndrome. Both my children have tested positive for the gene and recently we discovered that our little girl has the heart condition.
If it wasn't for genetic testing, we wouldn't know about this heart condition and wouldn't have been able to put the preventative measures in place.
There’s lots of work to do, but there is also lots of hope.
