Why I’m skipping
I’ve signed up to do 100 skips a day throughout August to raise money for Children’s Medical Research Institute and help save more kids’ lives. Can you help by sharing this message with the people you know and asking them to donate too?

I care about the 1 in 20 Aussie kids who face a birth defect or genetic disease, like cancer. Most people don’t know that cancer is caused by changes in genes—but almost everyone will be touched by it. So, the research you and I support today may one day help someone we know, someone in our family.
Working with children everyday has made me passionate to support all children in every aspect. I am very privileged in my work by getting to work with many different children and families and the love I have developed for these children and families has grown a lot. So I couldn’t imagine any of these families going through life changing diseases and the impact it would have on them and their lives. To make a small difference by doing 100 skips to donate and help means a lot and with your help it makes an even bigger impact. Sometimes we forget including myself how privileged and lucky some of us are to live in a world where this type of thing doesn’t affect us but in reality it affects thousands of other families and helping them even small, I hope makes a difference to their world.
