Team TAR

100 Skips a Day

We're doing 100 Skips a Day for Kiana and other kids with TAR and we need your help!

Team TAR are picking up their ropes and skipping their hearts out to raise awareness and funds for Jeans for Genes – a life-changing initiative that supports vital research into childhood genetic conditions.

Our team’s name is TAR (Taylor, Andy, Renee) but mainly inspired by TAR Syndrome (Thrombocytopenia with Absent Radius), a rare genetic disorder that affects bone development and platelet production. Kids with TAR syndrome are born without the radius bone in their arms and often face low blood platelet levels, just like Kiana (Daughter of Andy) putting them at risk for bleeding and infections. But their strength, courage, and resilience are unmatched.

By skipping, we’re not only raising funds we’re honouring every child living with a genetic condition just like Kiana.

Every dollar raised makes a difference.

Support our skips, support our story and support the fight to help kids live happier, healthier lives 🙌🏼
