At MRSL we are putting our support behind Jeans for Genes again this year.
1 in 20 Australian kids is born with a genetic disease or birth defect. That is about one child in every classroom.
Last year, through the generosity of our members, guests and staff, we helped raise funds that went straight into research at the Children’s Medical Research Institute. That work is not abstract. It is scientists trying to change outcomes for kids who are born into hospital visits, treatments, and uncertainty.
We are continuing that support this year across the club. Donations, fundraisers, and whatever we can do together on the ground here all go towards the same place.
This is one of those causes where the numbers are big, but the impact is personal.
