Why I’m Supporting Jeans for Genes

My beautiful little nephew Logan was diagnosed with CMT a few years back.

Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease (CMT) is a group of genetic conditions that affect the nerves connecting the brain and spinal cord to the rest of the body.Ā

He wears leg braces to assist his walking, does exercises every single day to maintain strength, but unfortunately there is no cure. His team of specialist say that by year 12, he will have no movement in his hands.Ā

Please help me raise money towards research for my beautiful boy, and for all those other beautiful children going through similar struggles every single day.Ā

Did you know that 1 in 20 Aussie kids are born with a genetic disease or birth defect? That’s one in every classroom!

This year, I’m taking part in Jeans for Genes to help fund the incredible scientists at Children’s Medical Research Institute, who are working today to change lives tomorrow.

Your donation will help keep labs running, research advancing, and hope alive for kids who need it most.

Together, we can make a difference.
