Did you know that 1 in 20 Australian children are born with a genetic condition or birth defect? That's one child in every classroom.
This year, our centre is proudly supporting Jeans for Genes Day to help raise vital funds for the incredible scientists at the Children's Medical Research Institute, who are working every day to find treatments and cures for genetic diseases.
Your support helps keep research laboratories running, advances life-changing discoveries, and brings hope to children and families affected by genetic conditions.
How we're helping
šļø From 6 August 2026, the children and educators in each of our rooms will decorate a pair of jeans, creating a unique piece of artwork.
šØ On 20 August 2026, these decorated jeans will be auctioned to our centre community, with 100% of proceeds going towards our Jeans for Genes fundraising campaign.
š Families and educators are also welcome to make a direct donation via our fundraising page.
Every dollar raised helps bring researchers one step closer to finding treatments and cures for children living with genetic conditions.
