Why we’re skipping

This August, my friends and I are committing to 100 skips a day throughout August to raise funds for Children's Medical Research Institute  and help save more kid's lives. Can you help by sharing this message with the people you know and asking them to donate too?

This challenge is deeply personal to me. I had the privilege of being Felix's carer while working as a nurse in the community, and over time, Felix and his family became so much more than clients, they became dear friends.

Felix lives with Cockayne syndrome, a rare genetic condition, yet the strength, joy, and resilience he and his family show every single day continue to inspire me. It's an honour to support a cause that funds vital genetic research and gives hope to families facing rare genetic conditions.

Every skip is for Felix and for all the families who deserve better treatments, greater understanding, and brighter futures. Thank you so much for supporting me and this incredible cause!
