On Jeans for Genes Day, our Childcare centre will be wearing
our jeans to help raise awareness and funds for genetic disease research.
This cause is one that is deeply personal to me.
On 2nd July 2025, I welcomed my beautiful son, Jaxon, into
the world. Jaxon was born with Nonketotic Hyperglycinemia (NKH), a rare and
devasting genetic condition. After just 9 precious days, we had to say goodbye
to him on 11th July.
Although Jax's life was incredibly short, the love he
brought into our lives will last forever. In his memory, we are supporting
Jeans for Genes to help fund vital research into genetic conditions, many of
which still have no cure.
Did you know that 1 in 20 babies are born with a genetic
condition or birth defect? Every donation helps support research, improve
treatments, and give hope to families facing the unimaginable.
On Jeans for Genes Day, we invite our families to join us by
wearing their favourite pair of jeans. If you are able to, we would also be
incredibly grateful fir a donation to our fundraiser. Every contribution, no
matter the amount, makes a difference.
