We at J Jaks Family Pies are excited to announce our participation in the Bake it Blue fundraiser. We are committed to supporting the Children's Medical Research Institute, and 100% of the sale of every $4.50 cupcake will be donated to this cause.
This fundraiser is particularly close to our hearts because our son, Hugh, was born with a genetic deletion. While the Children’s Medical Research Institute isn’t currently researching Hugh’s specific condition, they are making strides in understanding and treating various genetic disorders.Â
We care deeply about the 1 in 20 Aussie kids who face birth defects or genetic diseases. Research today may one day help someone in our family, or yours.Â
