Why we’re doing Jeans for Genes
Join Us for Jeans for Genes Day!
Our school will be participating in Jeans for Genes to support the Children’s Medical Research Institute. Our goal is to help save kids' lives by fundraising to support research into cures and treatments for children's genetic diseases, such as metabolic disorders, autism, cystic fibrosis, blindness, and even cancers.
Why It Matters:
1 in 20 kids are born with a birth defect or genetic disease. That’s 1 child in every classroom!
Every day, many of these kids wake up to pills, injections, hospital visits (or worse). They don't get the chance to run around and just be kids.
We want to help give these kids better treatments and maybe even a cure.
How You Can Help:
- Join our school in this important cause.
- Share this message to spread awareness.
- Donate to support vital medical research.
There is a lot of work to be done, but there is also a lot of hope.
