Our daughter Valentina was born with a rare genetic condition - so rare, it’s only been reported in about 200 people worldwide, and no one in Australia. One of the effects of her condition is Arthrogryposis, which causes joint contractures and affects her ability to move.
This week marks Arthrogryposis Awareness Day, and in honour of our brave little girl, and all children living with rare genetic conditions, we’re running a fundraiser to support the incredible work of the Children’s Medical Research Institute.
Their research and work gives hope to families like ours and helps pave the way for better treatments, earlier diagnoses, and brighter futures.
