Why we're doing Jeans for Genes

This year we’ve signed up to Jeans for Genes to raise money for Children’s Medical Research Institute and help save more kids’ lives.

We’re raising money for a charity that is close to our hearts as it effects one our dear friends, Joseph Cisca (pictured), who is the little legendary son of Carmelo and Sarah, owners of Barista v Chef, across the road.

Our annual Trivia Night will aim to raise money to support children like Joseph, who was born with Cystic Fibrosis, a life-limiting genetic disease.

Looking at Joseph you may think that nothing seems to be wrong, but day-in and day-out Joseph is battling physio treatments and taking copious amounts of medication to maintain a happy and healthy life.

Let's work together to help make a difference in Joseph's life, and other kids just like Joseph.

There’s lots of work to do, but there is also lots of hope. Here's to working together to find cures and give every child a fight chance at life.
