We support Jeans for Genes every year in honour of our beautiful boy Max who has Shwachman Diamond Syndrome (SDS) and Perthes Disease.Ā
SDS is a rare genetic condition that effects many organs in the body. For Max this means growth issues, bone marrow complications, daily tube feeding and medications. He is also using a wheelchair due to an orthopaedic complication called Perthes disease.Ā
We want to help Max and others like him to have a bright and healthy future and believe that supporting the scientists at The Children's Medical Research Institute is the way to do this!
